Susie Harris has been a Professional Photographer since 1978. She began her career by free-lance
photographing parties aboard riverboats while working full time as an Ophthalmic Photographer in
training. The excitement and growing hospitality industry in New Orleans captured her heart, and
she focused in on the special needs of the Convention and Tourism markets.
New Orleans Scenes is a 100,000+ collection of color images she has created over 25 years as a leading
Tourism Photographer. Today her images appear in publications worldwide. She is represented by
Photo Researchers, a Stock Photography Agency, in New York with affiliate offices 21 foreign countries.
Four major exhibitions of her work received rave reviews, and her Fine Art Prints are prized by collectors.
Exhibitions include: a permanent display at the Hilton Hotel, New Orleans, LA., Mardi Gras 2000 Exhibition, Louisiana State Museum- The Presbytere, at Jackson Square,The Pajaro Valley Art Council & Gallery, Monterrey, CA. The Many Faces of Carnival.
Mrs. Harris now resides in Hot Springs, Arkansas and continues to create stunning images for publication and personal enjoyment.
